WidowRISE is more than a movement—it’s a voice for the widowed and those who walk with them.
Born from lived experience and anchored in faith, WidowRISE offers content, reflections, and resources that speak honestly to the heartache of widowhood and the sacred courage it takes to keep becoming.
We’re not a grief counseling center. We’re not a support group. We’re a platform of purposeful engagement—for widows navigating a reality they didn’t choose and for those who want to show up better: friends, churches, advisors, and communities.
At the heart of WidowRISE is a simple, powerful truth: Widowhood is not your identity. It’s your reality. And you are still becoming.
Here, we rise together.
Resilient. Intentional. Strong. Empowered.

— Our Mission —
WidowRISE exists to be a bold, faith-rooted voice that changes how the world sees and supports widows—beginning with the Church, financial advisors, and everyday relationships. Through encouraging content, practical tools, and sacred storytelling, WidowRISE equips widows to rise with resilience and helps others walk alongside them with compassion.
— Our Vision —
A world where widows are seen, heard, and honored—not as sidelined or sorrowful, but as sacred matriarchs, still becoming. We envision churches, families, and communities that embrace widows with dignity and support, recognizing their ongoing purpose, wisdom, and leadership in the wake of loss.

In April 2022, with my husband Blaine’s final breath, I stepped into a reality I never wanted—widowhood.
At age 57, I found myself facing the silence, the shock, the questions…and the ache of becoming
a “before and after” woman.
I’ve learned that grief doesn’t shrink—we simply grow around it. I will never stop loving Blaine or
wishing he were here. But I’ve learned to carry that love forward, even when he’s no longer beside me.
Widowhood is not my identity—but it is part of my story.
And I believe God has given me a sacred assignment: to say out loud what so many of us carry in silence.
That’s why I created WidowRISE.
To shine light on the unseen places.
To elevate the brave, tender voices of women like us.
To build a space where we rise—not perfectly, but honestly—together.
This is my story. But it’s also yours.
And I believe—we are still becoming.
